Nikon Df FX-format dijital SLR fotoğraf makinesi retro görünümüyle resmi olarak duyuruldu. Nikon’un artık ikonlaşmış F serisi 35mm film kameralarına benzer görünümü ve içerisinde yine Nikon’un en üst seviyede konumlanan D4 fotoğraf makinesinde kullandığı 16.2 megapiksel tam kare sensörü barındırıyor.

Nikon’un nostaljik tarzda retro bir görünümle sunduğu Df tam kare fotoğraf makinesi üzerinde HDMI çıkışı bulunurken dahili flaş ve mikrofon girişi yer almıyor. Enstantane, ISO hassasiyeti, pozlama telafisi gibi ayarlar için mekanik butonlar sunan Nikon Df, geçmişe dönük olarak tüm AF-S, AF-S ve AF Nikkor Lenslerin yanısıra pre-AI olarak bilinen tüm lensler ile uyumlu bir şekilde geliyor.
